Rules & legal

How a bidding procedure works.

Fair, transparent and binding – here you will find all rules, costs and legal information.

The process in four steps

  1. Register & get approved

Create an account and confirm your identity. You see listings immediately; the site owner approves you for bidding.

  2. View & check

Check the listing, documents and energy certificate, book a viewing directly online.

  3. Bid with binding effect

Enter an amount, check the costs, confirm. You can always see whether you are leading.

  4. Award & purchase contract

After the deadline the site owner decides. The purchase contract is handled by a notary or lawyer.

FAQ

Why does my account have to be approved?

Bids are legally binding. The site owner therefore checks every new account before it can bid. You can see listings and the bid history right after registering.

Can I withdraw a bid?

No. Bids are binding. That is why we show the amount in words before you submit and display all costs.

Does the seller have to award the highest bid?

The seller decides within 14 days after the deadline. Whether they are obliged to do so is set out by the client in the procedure rules.

Who can see my name?

Other bidders only see “Bidder 1, 2, 3 …”. The seller only receives your contact details after the award.

Which documents do I need?

An identity check and – before your first bid – proof of financing or creditworthiness.
